A Hawaii native, "Pua" started racing in college as a cross-country runner. Eventually, she found herself deep into triathlons and road racing. After qualifying for the Ironman World Championships she moved to California. Pua discovered her love of mountain bike racing in 2004. Pua has performed phenomenally, placing 1st in eight of her 13 races in 2007!
