ICT tuned four-bar linkage design provides a true zero energy loss to suspension function by aligning the instant center on the chain torque line and continually tracking the chain torque throughout the range of travel. The rider's pedal energy will not ativate the suspension. This keeps the suspension fully active, and always on, increasing traction and control, and reducing rider fatigue. Asymmetrical, Monocoque Chain stay. Utilizing hollow void design techniques, Ellsworth has increased the durability, while reducing weight from the Chain stay. Sex Pins, specially designed 12mm pins hold the main pivots of the Ellsworth Suspension bikes together, reducing the number of parts, and increasing stiffness and guaranteeing precise alignment.

Hand shaped in our facility in Vancouver, Washington, each model has a shape that is specific to the handling characteristics the frame was designed to possess.

Every Ellsworth Frame utilizes special design techniques that allow each tube to weld completely to its connecting tube and machined frame component. You’ll never see it, but it ads stiffness, durability, frame feel, and strength to every single Ellsworth Frame.

DMS (Dual Mono Stay) firm tail design, has the following benefits: smoother ride, having the capability of dampening the resonance characteristics of the road, through force direction carbon design and tube energy transfer and damping. It also has the versatility and strength capable of supporting single speed configurations, belt and chain drive, as well as multigear chain drive options, and gearless NuVinci, belt drive configurations. Ellsworth spent three years qualifying his Carbon Fiber manufacturing facility, material and technique. Our carbon material is certified and tracked from material acquisition to lay up in the frames, preventing any substitution in material utilization. Our Lay Up technicians are trained, and experienced professionals, working in a clean, healthy and organized environment, capable of reading and understanding the lay up specifications of our monocoque frame designs. Our modern manufacturing facility exercises social responsibility, modern high tech void extraction and heat equipment, and properly controls the dissipation of carbon dust and scrap in the finishing process. Carbon dust and scraps are initially minimized by accurate lay up techniques in the mold.
